SIXTH EDITION – 2016

 

Date: November 30th and December 1st, 2017.
Place: CTBE Auditorium, Campinas, Brazil.

Presentation: The “Workshop on Second Generation Bioethanol 2016″ is focused on the challenges of producing biofuels and coproducts from lignocellulosic biomass. Gathering experts from Brazil and abroad, the workshop is an opportunity to update concepts, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations in this research area that is strategic to Brazil.This will be the sixth edition of this workshop, the first one occurred in 2010. Each edition gathers over one hundred participants, including graduate students, researchers, professors and professionals from industry. The topics covered in the event this year include:

  1. Enzyme systems for lignocellulose degradation
  2. Microbial systems for production of enzymes, chemicals and biofuels
  3. Biomass and biorefining
  4. Biofuels and industry
