III IBSB – Enzymes for Biorenewables
April 19th to May 21st, 2021
Enzymes for Biorenewables is part of a workshop series promoted by the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory, from the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (LNBR/CNPEM) in order to address the main challenges of Biotechnology. CNPEM is a non-profit private organization under the supervision of the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI).
In this edition, the most recent research res.ults regarding enzyme prospection and design, carbohydrate-active enzymes, and redox enzymes mechanism, as well as the development of microbial platforms for the production of industrial enzymes will be discussed. This event is expected to create a welcoming space for discussions and networking among the participants, which will comprise undergraduate and graduate students, professionals, professors, and researchers, working in the Biotechnology field in Brazil. The III IBSB aims to promote a forum to discuss key issues at the state of the art for industrial enzymes development, by disseminating researches developed in Brazil and encouraging a collaborative environment. The event will be hosted as a fully online meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
