{"id":5,"date":"2017-10-24T11:31:38","date_gmt":"2017-10-24T13:31:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pages.cnpem.br\/wirms2019\/?page_id=4"},"modified":"2019-08-02T13:47:12","modified_gmt":"2019-08-02T16:47:12","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pages.cnpem.br\/pressync\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row gap=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<div class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Between<strong> July 31st and August 2nd, 2019,<\/strong> the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS), part of the <strong>Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM)<\/strong> located at Campinas (SP), will host the event <strong>Synchrotron Techniques Under High Pressure (PRESSYNC).<\/strong> PRESSYNC is a satellite workshop to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airapt27.cbpf.br\/\">27th International Conference on High Pressure Science and Technology (AIRAPT27).<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airapt27.cbpf.br\/\">AIRAPT27<\/a> conference, sponsored by AIRAPT (International Association for the Advancement of High-Pressure Science and Technology), is the largest and most important international scientific event in the field of high-pressure science and technology. The 27th conference in Rio de Janeiro will be the first one to be held in the southern hemisphere. The conference gathers a multidisciplinary international community whose focus is on fundamental and applied research at extreme pressure conditions, as well as on the associated technology and instrumentation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Taking advantage of this opportunity, the <strong>PRESSYNC<\/strong> Satellite Workshop will bring together world leaders in high-pressure science to discuss the potential of synchrotron-based techniques under high pressure on the new fourth-generation synchrotron light sources, such as Sirius.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sirius, the new Brazilian synchrotron light source, is planned to be one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the world, opening new perspectives for research in a wide range of fields. Hence, <strong>PRESSYNC<\/strong> aims specially to motivate the community around the several possibilities that will be available at Sirius\u2019 extreme conditions beamline, EMA.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=&#8221;331&#8243;
