The event

The XIII Proteomics Workshop is promoted by the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), a social organization from the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

From November 6th to 8th, 2024, the participants will learn from a program comprising classes by experts in proteomics and mass spectrometry. They can also participate in virtual Flash Talks.

This year, discussions will cover the cutting-edge methods of proteomics, including spatial proteomics, proteoforms, protein-protein interaction, targeted proteomics, single-cell proteomics, and statistical analysis in proteomics. The topics will be addressed in 50-minute lectures with time for Q&A.

Since 2021, the workshop has been held entirely online, a format that has received significant support from previous participants for its quality and convenience. Therefore, to encourage the diversity and accessibility of the Proteomics community, the 2024 edition will operate once again remotely and will have free registration.

The excellence of this meeting is recognized by the scientific community throughout Brazil. The first edition took place in 2010 and has, since then, attracted researchers from multiple nationalities. Altogether, the event has welcomed representatives from 22 Brazilian states and 29 countries from all over the globe.

Why participate?

This meeting represents a training and information exchange opportunity for current and future users of Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry. Following the example of the previous editions, held since 2010, the workshop promotes the interaction between Brazilian and international researchers and the dissemination of knowledge in the scientific community.

How much will I invest?

The XIII Proteomics Workshop registration is free. The event is 100% online.
