CNPEM/Ilum: Max Planck meeting

The CNPEM/ILUM – Max Planck Meeting on Electronic Structure Methods and Materials Informatics is an international collaborative event that brings together researchers from Brazil’s National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) for Materials Informatics and the Max Planck Institute. This meeting will focus on advancing electronic structure methods and fostering breakthroughs in materials informatics. With experts from diverse fields in materials science, computational physics, and informatics, this event will provide a platform to discuss the latest research, innovative methodologies, and applications in electronic structure theory and computational materials science.

Selection criteria

Please find the selection criteria for participation in the CNPEM/Ilum: Max Planck meeting. Candidates will be selected according to the priority order listed below.

Priority order:

  1. Professors and researchers;
  2. Postdoctoral fellows;
  3. PhD students;
  4. Master’s students;
  5. Undergraduates.

Tie-breaking criterion: order of registration.

From the 120 available spots, we will have the following distribution:

  • 60 seats for members of INCT Materials Informatics and the Max Planck Institute;
  • 30 seats for CNPEM internal staff;
  • 30 seats for external participants.

Unused reserved seats will be reassigned to other categories.

Venue

The workshop will take place on the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), at Ilum’s Auditorium. CNPEM is located at R. Giuseppe Máximo Scolfaro, 10.000 – Campinas (SP).

  • Registration for this meeting is charged accordingly to your category
    • Max Planck participants (hotel and transfers included): R$1.600;
    • External participants: R$300;
    • INCT Members: free of charge;
    • CNPEM personnel: free of charge.
  • The meeting will be a full in-person event.
