The XIV Proteomics Workshop: Single-cell proteomics hands-on was promoted by the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), a social organization from the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
From November 4th to 6th, 2025, this hands-on meeting included both theoretical and practical sessions at the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio), located on the campus of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), in Campinas, São Paulo.
The theoretical and practical sessions were delivered by researchers from the Technical University of Denmark and the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory (MAS) from LNBio, as part of a collaboration supported by the São Paulo Researchers in International Collaboration program (SPRINT, FAPESP).
The excellence of this meeting is recognized by the scientific community throughout Brazil. The first edition took place in 2010 and has, since then, attracted researchers from multiple nationalities. Altogether, the event has welcomed representatives from 22 Brazilian states and 29 countries from all over the globe.
This event represents a training and information exchange opportunity for current and future users of Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry. Following the example of the previous editions, held since 2010, the workshop promotes the interaction between Brazilian and international researchers and the dissemination of knowledge in the scientific community.
