• Give an overview of your research in a prerecorded video in up to 2 minutes in leght.

Please, record you presentation in landscape orientation and .mp4 format. Send the video until September 17th, 2021 through a deliver repository link (FileSenderRNP) that will be sent by the local committee to the confirmed presenters. The local committee will compile all videos into one presentation and have them ready for the Flash Talk session.

Check the agenda to consult the timetable for the Flash Talk session.

Tips for Prerecorded Video

The Flash Talk presenters are required to create a quick 2-minute video about their research. This prerecorded video can be anything you want from reading out a slide with topics to a conversation with your audience as a face-to-face event.

Use the slide template to support your speech (download here) and accomplish some of the following goals: to advertise your poster, to summarize your work or to highlight part of your work.

Find here some tutorials on how to record with PowerPoint app or how to record a meeting on Zoom. Most videos generated by screen capture software exports will have enough technical quality for publication with standard settings. We recommend a MP4 file format (MPEG container), HD resolution (720p) and horizontal orientation.

  • Your device’s microphone might be enough but if you use the built-in microphone from an earphone that might be even better;
  • Ensure there will be no interruptions or invasive background noise while you present;
  • Use natural light from window or door to light up your face, not behind you;
  • Please check your video before sending it to see whether you are happy with the recording.

Don’t forget to save the file generate by those softwares on your computer.

The local committee will send a repository link (FileSenderRNP) and the videos must be delivered until September 17th 2021. In case of any questions, reach us at eventos@cnpem.br.
