Luiz Juliano is currently a retired full professor at the Federal University of São Paulo. He participates in teaching and works in research at the AC Camargo Cancer Center, with an emphasis on interinstitutional relations and new developments. He has particular experience in the area of Biochemistry, with an emphasis on proteins, acting mainly on the topics: peptides and proteases. Since 2005, he has established interfaces between life sciences, in particular medicine, with exact sciences such as physics, chemistry and engineering. This initiative establishes the concept of CONVERGENCE, which is considered today the future of biological and medical sciences.
