Speakers

As a speaker, we kindly ask you to:

  • Introduce yourself to the chair of your session before it begins.
  • Upload your presentation to the conference computer before the start of your session. Presentations should not be run directly from personal laptops. 
  • Test your presentation in the session room during one of the breaks before your session. 
  • Plan your presentation to fit within the allocated time, allowing a few minutes for questions and discussion.
  • 15 minutes Oral presentation: we recommend 12 minutes for the presentation itself and 3 minutes for Q&A
  • 30 minutes Plenary presentation: we recommend 25 minutes for the presentation itself and 5 minutes for Q&A
  • Please note that only invited speakers will be allowed to use their own laptops, if needed. 

Session Chairs

As a session chair, we kindly ask you to:

  • Introduce yourself to the speakers before the session begins.
  • Remind speakers to test their presentations in the session room during one of the breaks before the session.
  • Welcome the audience, open the session, and introduce each speaker.
  • In case of an invited speaker: a brief up to 90 seconds introduction.
  • In case of oral communication – introduce name and title.
  • Moderate the Q&A after each presentation.
  • Keep the session on schedule by ensuring that presentations and discussions remain within the allocated time.

Recording

We intend to record all oral presentations, including slides, audio, and subsequent discussions, and, with the presenter’s authorization, make them available online to conference participants. Wwill upload the recordings and abstracts to Zenodo, assigning each contribution a DOI as an alternative to traditional conference proceedings. Before any public release, presenters will have the opportunity to review their recordings, add metadata information, and request that sensitive slides or portions of the presentation be blurred or removed. You can check the previous XRM conference at: https://zenodo.org/communities/xrm2024/records

Poster Presenters

As a poster presenter, we kindly ask you to:

  • Check which poster session your contribution has been assigned to: Session A (Monday), Session B (Tuesday), or Session C (Thursday).
  • Hang your poster before the start of your assigned session, following the poster identification code. 
  • The poster should follow the sequence of the printed program 
  • Each sessiois separated into two side-by-side rooms.
  • Remove your poster promptly at the end of your session.

Poster Requirements

Your poster must:

  • Be in portrait orientation.
  • Measure 120 cm (height) 90 cm (width).
  • Be printed and equipped with strings for hanging on tripod stands (see the panel structure).
