The event

The X Proteomics Workshop is promoted by the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio), hosted by the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), a social organization from the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizing committee will promote the event fully remote and online.

Considering these advantages, we hope to have new participants, from different regions, including other countries, in the online version of the event compared to previous in-person editions.

From November 3rd until the 5th, 2021, participants will be meeting the program, comprising classes ministered by experts in the field of Omics Data Analysis. They can also participate in the virtual poster sessions.

The X Proteomics Workshop registration will be free, and the event will be online through Whova, a multifunctional platform for managing online events.

In the face-to-face editions, over nine years, nearly 1,500 people signed up.

Throughout the years, the Proteomics Workshop, offered by CNPEM, achieved high recognition as an event of excellence in mass spectrometry and proteomics.

This edition will cover large-scale quantitative proteomics, post-translational modifications, structural proteomics, targeted proteomics and single-cell proteomics. The topics will be addressed in 50-min lectures with time for Q&A and posters of attendees.
